From the various dates proposed some time ago, we have now amalgamated people’s responses and interest into ONE evening: Monday, July 6th. The venue will be at PET, 92-94 Tooley Street near London Bridge, London SE1 2TH (starting at 7pm - Room 12).

We do still need your help in generating more interest and a greater diversity of participants, from different professions and sectors. We have made significant progress with our publicity materials and also the website is being re-configured, to allow for greater extendability and flexibility. We are inviting people to become Communitas SpoRe partners, who spread the word about our events in their professional and social circles (for financial and other benefits, see the Booking section on the website).

The Open Taster sessions are designed to give an impression of the various elements of Communitas, that distinguish our approach from other leadership development (particularly the psychological and learning community aspects). Moving between a participative, co-created style on the one hand and in-depth, experiential work on the other, these events are immediately relevant to all kinds of organisational work, pushing beyond the confines of established leadership development.

If you are wondering whether the 5-day Residential is of interest to you, these events are one opportunity to meet some of our tutors and form an impression of the kind of groups we are creating. Open Taster sessions are in no way required as preparation for the Residential nor do they pre-empt it, but are designed to stand on their own. We will work with the particular group which attends each session, aiming to bring out its unique qualities and features. Because of the changed 3-hour format and the new group composition, they are suitable even if you have attended a previous Open Evening.
